How do you start your day?
Do you jump out of bed as soon as the alarm goes off and get into “the day is here, I have to get through it” mode?
Or do you spend a few minutes smiling to yourself and say “what a wonderful day it is”?
How you wake up will make a difference to your day. If you wake up thinking I need to get through today, no doubt you will get through the day but how is the question. You could get through the day being jumpy all day, rushing to get things done and feel tired at the end of it.
Contrarily if you wake up thinking what a glorious day it is, your day will become glorious. The positivity in you is infectious and Life works to make it glorious for you.
Here a few things you could try to jump-start your day.
As soon as you are awake, smile and say to yourself “What a glorious day”. You could say “I love you” to yourself and really mean it. You could also run through the day in your mind and think positively about the events that you are anticipating to be part of on the day.
You may be thinking that you don’t have time to do this. Consider setting your alarm five minutes earlier than your usual wake up time.
Wake up positively and notice how your day becomes glorious!
